Dublin's iconic McGonagle's music venue has been reincarnated as this amazing theatre
IRISH MUSIC FANS of a certain vintage will fondly remember McGonagle’s on South Anne Street in Dublin, a venue which hosted bands like U2 in their infancy.

The original building was demolished – but now 22 South Anne Street is going back to its roots with the opening of a new theatre, hidden behind a bright blue door.
Named Magistorium, the venue is bringing the concept of ‘dinner and a show’ to Dublin, with themed nights centred around traditional music, jazz, and 1920s New York.
